This book really opened my eyes to a world I have always favored. Ever since I could understand who Queen Elizabeth is, I have been intrigued by her life while never wanting to walk in her shoes.
I watched The Crown which introduced me to this book and while I never favored Edward VIII, this made me see him and Churchill through different eyes.
The book is a great read if you want to dive deeper into the Royal Family and their ties with Germany during WWI and even WWII.

Wowzers, what a ride. Love the antics this bunch always come up with. Cannot wait to see the hexes that Aunt Tillie comes up with after all the mischief that Bay, Thistle, Clove and even Winnie came up with. Great things are a foot and cannot wait to see how far the Winchesters make it.

Not sure what to say about this one; not sure how I feel about the ending and don’t want to spoil it should you decide to give it a go.  Besides the whining from Lisa though, Stormy and Hunter keep us in suspense while hunting down the mystery.  Gotta love the antics of Aunt Tillie – she is always a hoot and so glad that Amanda can have her mingle with all of her other characters outside of Hemlock Clove.

I am torn and I feel that I may not have given this my full attention as once I finally got through the first chapter, I quickly read the rest of the book.
While it is not my cup of tea, it may be someone’s and I hope they enjoy it.

Wow, what a ride to go along with Scout and the Gang. I thoroughly enjoyed the walk through all the horror movies, most of my favorites as well.
I did not see the ending coming the way it did and yet glad to have more friends on Scout’s side. Cannot wait to see what else is to come for Scout and Gang.

The way this one begins, I thought it was the last which made me sad as I don’t want Scout and gang adventures to stop….
Lots of twists and turns and leaving the reader wanting more. Cannot wait for their next trip

I have always been infatuated with Queen Elizabeth, and, by extension, the Royal Family. This biography gave an insight to the two sisters detailing the differences, yet similarities shared amongst sisters. While I was intrigued and pulled to the biography as it was about the Queen, I learned a lot I never knew of about Princess Margaret which made them both more “civilian” like then just royalty.

Another good one bites the dust. Whileni figured out who the bad guy was early on, it was a hunch up until about chapter 16, the anticipation of the group working through the problem was nail biting. Until next time…

I love how Baron Samedi can frazzle Poet and make her smile at the same time and every time he is around it is a party to be had.
Such a roller coaster of emotions and who does not love a happy ending?

Happy with things turned out, even was surprised with one unexpected twist… the bickering between Scout and Luke was a bit obnoxious but that’s who Scout is and I love her for that. On to the next adventure.

I love how I can get the history and images of a city I would love to see (NOLA is on my bucket list of places to visit) from the stories by Avery Kane (aka Amanda M. Lee). My heart pained for Rowan but am glad that she received everything she so very much deserved. Would love to hear more about Toni.

Every time I read this series, it makes me want to drive down to the Keys (about 6 to 7 hours from where I live) to try and visit Moonstone Bay.
I love the kinship that Hadley has amongst all of her friends and the relationship that is growing between her and her mother-in-law seems to fit the bill.
A twist I did not see coming from the previous books, and glad it did – cannot wait to see the full outcome though. Off to my next grand adventure.

While I wasn’t expecting the culprit to be who it ended up to be, as Lily Harper Hart is just that good at keeping you in suspense, I can’t say that I am surprised at the ending and couldn’t ask for a happier, lovelier ending for the gang from Whisper Cove / Blackstone Bay area

Lily Harper Hard is never a disappointment. She kept me on my toes guessing who the true culprit was, which I tend to think I have figured out within the first few chapters, but not the case here.
Love Poe’s Halloween costume; I just might have to get my granddaughter to that way one year when she is older.

What can I say that won’t give too much away. I am by no means a romantic at heart, especially in my fictional world, but my heavens, Robin needs to wake up and smell the Cornwall clovers (yes, I searched up the variety of flowers Cornwall, UK).
While Strike does annoy me sometimes with his “Harry Potter” ways, Murphy is far more annoying with his “Malfoy” woes me moments which are the parts where I wished I could press fast-forward. Other than the drama that was meant to bring us closer to Strike and Ellacott, the roller coaster of who-dunnit was outstanding. Robert Galbraith knows how to grab your attention. Count down until the next great adventure for my favorite PIs commences now.

Another good one bites the dust. Even though the bad guy was introduced into the limelight early on, I absolutely loved the buildup to the final draw.

Fe and Sully must be my favorite characters of Lily Harper Hart’s. Not only do we get to live vicariously through them and their journeys, but they also provide good New Orleans’ vibe (of course, I have never been so maybe it is just me daydreaming of what New Orleans is like).
Love how the duo pulls both the supernatural and non-paranormal worlds together.

There are no words that I have not said before upon reading her works. I am always left wanting more, and yet I think this is the last in the series as I didn’t get the typical “buy next book now” upon completing the book – but that’s not really what you want to read for a review.
I love the suspense and twists and turns. I really thought it was 1 person then bam another came into play and thought it was the and then surprised it to be someone that didn’t come I to live play until the final battle.
If this is really the last hoorah for the series, it was definitely a great ending…

While the book is well written, there are times where it dragged on and seemed to not want to end.
I am also not one to read “smut” so those scenes were more or less skipped over as I am just not a fan of those scenes (call me a prude if you will).
Overall, though, I do think that it could have gone a bit faster and not have so many woes me moments for Ofelia.

It was a great story, but I think it could have been cut down by 2 chapters by taking out some of the whining and woes me moments. But I did enjoy reading about Moxie and Gus.

I wasn’t sure Id like it at first as I am typically not a “swap back and forth” type of reader. However, as I read further on, I came to enjoy the separation of chapters with Bree’s and Brody’s perspective on their relationship and the world of chaos happening around them – And I am looking forward to the next chapter of Bree and Brody.

Another great one from Amanda. Love how we get to keep up with the Grimlock’s antics (& Izzy’s) while falling in love with Luna, Lincoln, Winter, Bruno, Reid, and Jesse.

I have to admit that Freya and Lex are growing on me. The brotherly way he protects her and wants to make sure that her heart is not broken beyond repair makes me smile. As for the story, my gut had me pegging the “culprit” the moment we were introduced to him, but I just couldn’t put the book down. Love the ending – was clean and quiet. Off to the next adventure.

I am by no means a hopeless romantic, yes, I like romance, but I prefer mystery… this gave it all.
I am glad that Gray and Haley got their happy ending, well at least for now. on pins and needles waiting for the next adventure. oh, and I got a new restaurant I want to try the next time we are in the St. Pete area…

Love the twists and turns… in the beginning I had the “bad guy” narrowed down to two, then grew to four, then back to three and back to two, but not the original two from the beginning. Absolutely love the entire trip and learning of all the different names for the various shifter breeds “groups” (being from Kissimmee area, I just might go looking for a congregation of alligators).
I am a bit confused though as this didn’t read as the final for Haley and Gray, but I didn’t get the option to purchase the next, so gonna troll fb for updates.

I will never look at frogs the same way again, although the “bad guy” is not amphibian in nature, the description provided left nothing to the imagination and always Lily Harper Hart left me wanting more.

I have never really considered myself a romantic at heart, and to be honest, I still am not a huge fan of the genre, however Avery Kane (and Amanda M. Lee) have grabbed me and keep me wanting more. While I feel that sometimes the back and forth of “not wanting to fall in love” tidbits can be cut down, the wanting for the lovers makes my heart happy.

Oh, my goddess, I absolutely NEED the potion ingredients listing and directions for the exploding diarrhea spell 🤣.
I just love the crazy antics of Zoe (just not her narcissistic methods). Nothing but exhilarating paths from the second I started the book.
So happy for Luna and gang, just wish there was more Izzy (she is one of my favorite characters and hate that her series was short lived). October can’t get here fast enough.

This one caught me off guard, it was all for the one (at the time) obvious bad guy to wow, so not who I thought it would be. Definitely kept me on my toes.

So many twists and unexpected turns, this one really kept me on my toes in trying to unmask the culprit/mastermind before the last chapter… Wow. Cannot wait for the next adventure.

I am giving these 5 stars, because as always, Amanda leaves me wanting more… but, I don’t know, the side stories when trying to provide the back story confused me some (and maybe it is just me).
Wasn’t a big fan of the childish banter between Freya and Knox – they were acting more like brother and sister then potential love interests… we shall see how the series goes as to if my heart opens to them. I did love how she worked Charlie and Jack into the story line and cannot wait to see more of them and the Legacy Foundation.
